Marco Devera and his Ole Miss international students recently visited our 3rd and 4th grade QUEST classes to share insights about their cultures. Students enjoyed learning about global traditions, highlighted by an engaging West African dance demonstration accompanied by traditional harmonica music and songs.

Today, we celebrate the dedication and hard work of our custodians who keep our schools clean, safe, and welcoming. Your commitment anchors us to excellence, ensuring our students thrive in a positive environment. Thank you for all that you do!

Our school counselors have been sharing ideas and strategies through their PLC and also representing our district at the Magnolia School Counselor Association Conference.
We’re proud of the work they’re doing and the difference it makes in the lives of our students every day.

Here is a list of activities and the parade route for our community and students. Hope to see you there.

Our LUES QUEST students have been learning about wildlife through exciting guest presentations.
Deb Waz Davis from the Mississippi Museum of Natural Science presented on animal adaptations and gave QUEST students a closer look at bats—with the highlight being an encounter with a baby alligator!
Audrey Rhodes, a former Lafayette student, along with a colleague, spoke to our QUEST students about careers in Wildlife Conservation and serving as a Game Warden. We are especially proud to welcome Audrey back to campus to share her journey!
Dan Kerber, Park Ranger from the Natchez Trace Parkway, taught students about wildlife adaptations.
We are grateful to these guests for sharing their time and expertise with our students.
If you are interested in visiting a QUEST class to discuss your career, please contact Mrs. McKinion at diana.mckinion@gocommodores.org.
