Anchored to Excellence!
Please join us in congratulating our District Employees of the Year—Mr. John Blair (Certified) and Mr. Ralph Braden (Classified)!
Both were selected by their peers in recognition of their outstanding dedication, hard work, and positive impact on our schools. They were honored at the May school board meeting.
Thank you, Mr. Blair and Mr. Braden, for your exceptional service and commitment to our students and staff.

Teamwork in Action!
A big shoutout to Mr. Larry Campbell, driver of Bus 226, for going above and beyond! After finishing his route, he voluntarily jumped in to help with traffic at LUES—without even being asked. His positive energy and willingness to step in made a big difference.
Thank you, Mr. Campbell, for being a true team player and setting a shining example of dedication and service!

FOR THE HISTORY BOOKS!
The Commodores shut out the Trojans and ran-ruled 13-0 in the 5th to guarantee the first trip to the championship for the Commodores.

Making Math Review Fun!
As state assessments approach, our students are staying sharp with interactive and engaging math review activities! One class is working through a 20-question practice test in rounds of five—Girls vs. Boys style—with a quick game of skee-ball after each round to keep things lively and competitive.
Another class added a musical twist to the review, using songs to energize learning and make the math even more fun and memorable.
It’s a great way to mix focus and creativity as we wrap up the school year!

Celebrating Our Middle School Principal!
Last week, our middle school students and staff made sure their principal felt the love with a fun and thoughtful sign!
We’re grateful for all of our amazing principals and the leadership they bring to our schools each day!

May Madness at LES!
Mrs. Raspo is bringing the energy with "May Madness"—an active open gym time for 2nd-grade students at LES. Every Tuesday and Thursday morning, students have the chance to start their day with movement, games, and fitness fun before the bell rings.
What a great way to promote healthy habits and a strong finish to the school year!

CLASS OF 2025
Graduation Information
We're one week away from watching this class walk the stage. Mark your calendars.
IMPORTANT TRAFFIC & PARKING INFORMATION
Ole Miss will be hosting Auburn Baseball during our graduation. Please note that roads to the east of the campus (Old Taylor Road and surrounding streets) will be blocked for game traffic and parking. We encourage our guests to enter campus at the Chucky Mullins exit and at the roundabout. Our parking areas are designated with a blue parking icon.

District Retirement Celebration
Yesterday, we gathered in the LHS Commons to celebrate a remarkable group of educators and staff members who are retiring from our district. It was a meaningful afternoon filled with gratitude, reflection, and recognition of their lasting impact on our schools and students.
We are proud to honor Barney Conner, Mary Beth Smith, Mandi Tosh, Daisy Bullard, Theresa Rikard, and Dianna Dubard (not pictured) for their dedication and contributions to our school community.
Thank you for your service!

A Special Thank You
While we celebrated Administrative Professionals Week recently, we want to take a moment to give special recognition to our dedicated School Board Clerk, Michelle Odom.
The district honored her with a gift and our deepest appreciation for all she does behind the scenes to keep things running smoothly. Her hard work, organization, and commitment do not go unnoticed.

Full-Circle Creativity
High school senior Jude Ridling returned to Mrs. Whiteaker’s 4th-grade QUEST class, where she was once a student, to lead a two-week art project she designed herself. With help from Anna Moreno, Jude inspired young students and shared her passion for art and learning.
Thank you, Jude and Anna, for giving back in such a meaningful way!

We cordially invite you to the retirement reception honoring the 2025 LCSD retirees.
