Inclement Weather Notification Procedures As LCSD continues to monitor the inclement weather conditions beginning Thursday, January 9th, we would like to make everyone aware of our inclement weather notification procedures. As always, the safety of all our students and staff is our top priority. In the event of any change to the school day, the information will be made available on the official school website and social media, email, text, and local news outlets. Parents/Guardians will be notified via SchoolStatus (and/or SchoolMessenger). If there is a decision for a delayed start, that information will be publicized by 6:00 a.m. Decisions regarding early dismissal could be made sometime throughout the day. There are three schedule possibilities in the event of inclement weather. 1. Delayed Start - Employees and students are expected to report to school at the delayed start time, typically two hours after the regular start time. 2. Early Dismissal - Employees and students will be notified at least one hour in advance of an early closure to the school day. 3. Complete Closure - Employees and students will be notified as soon as possible.

Congrats to our spirit squads on finishing their in-state season. All teams achieved success at the state level before Nationals next month. The dance teams earned 2nd place in both the 5A Jazz and Gameday competitions. The cheer team HIT ZERO, an impressive accomplishment, in a talented group of squads separated by only one point. The middle school squad also celebrated returning to the state competition after a two-year absence. Congratulations to all these hardworking athletes.
