In the club's first year, the LHS Quiz Bowl Team attended the Mississippi State Spring Invitational in Starkville, MS, this weekend, where they had a very successful day. They placed 2nd in their division with victories over Itawamba, Madison Central, Madison-Ridgeland Academy, Starkville, West Lauderdale, and West Union. They qualified for the playoff bracket, where they had a nail-biting loss to MSMS in their final round. They finished with an overall 6-4 record on the day and placed 4th overall out of 14 teams. The team consisted of Cameron Bolen, Cole Garvin, Andrew Phillips, Aleksander Stupal, Kara Coleman, Isabella Dassance, Gray Fisher, Christopher Fernandez-Interiano, and Marlee Garvin. They will compete at State Championships in Fulton in two weeks.
It's time to purchase the Pink Out Softball game t-shirt for the annual Lafayette/Oxford Softball game. All proceeds will go towards this year's honoree.

Come out and support Lafayette Theatre as they perform their Spring Musical: "Mamma Mia!" The dates are April 19th and 20th at 7 pm in the Lafayette Middle School Auditorium! Tickets are being sold presale for $10! Tickets at the door are $15, so get them early! Tickets can be purchased from any Theatre member.

Volleyball wins State Championship Game
Your Commodores are STATE CHAMPIONS! Congratulations to the volleyball team on their historic win on Thursday afternoon at the Ole Miss Gillom Center. This is the first state title for the volleyball team. The commanding post-season ends with 0 sets lost as they defeat the East Central Hornets in three sets.
