Oxford, MS - On Wednesday, March 19, at approximately 5:30 pm., Lafayette County Fire Department (LCFD), Oxford Fire Department (OFD), and Forestry community members responded to a grass fire behind the baseball and softball facilities adjacent to the Oxford Country Club.
We are grateful for the quick response and collaboration among all responders as they worked to control the fire, dig trenches to avoid its spread and save the structures.

Smiles All Around! Dental Hygiene Students Teach 3rd Graders the Power of Healthy Teeth!
Dental Hygiene students from Mississippi Delta Community College made a big impact with their visit to Mrs. Murphy's 3rd-grade class! Their presentation on oral hygiene was both fun and informative.
