KINDERGARTEN APPLE TASTING
After learning about apples over the past two weeks, Ms. Burk's LES kindergarten students put their learning to the test with an apple tasting. They sampled different varieties and picked their favorites!

6th grade students in Ms. Liberti, Ms. Bruno, and Ms. Pittman’s ELA classes developed a deeper understanding of theme through a Socratic seminar on Robert Frost’s poem “The Road Not Taken.”
Commodores sail despite some rain and start the season 3-0 after a home win versus Port Gibson. The Commodores remain at home next week for homecoming vs Lewisburg.

6th GRADE MATH
Our 6th graders put math skills to work with a real-world shopping activity! Students used grocery store prices to calculate unit rates and compare costs per ounce, pound, and item to determine the best value. A practical way to apply ratios and rates to everyday life.
