Thanks to LUES PTO and SnoBiz for helping us celebrate our amazing students last week who earned perfect scores on their State MAAP tests! 🎉 We are so proud of their hard work and dedication. The celebration continued last Friday as we recognized more students who showed growth or scored Level 4 or 5 at the end of last school year. Let’s keep up the momentum as students take their First 9 weeks' Benchmarks this week! #AnchoredToExcellence

How will they remember you? For the Jolly Ranchers, of course! LMS cheerleaders jumped in to help with the LUES car rider line and spotted Mr. Franklin—instantly recalling their LUES days and his famous Jolly Rancher treats. Naturally, he had some to share!

Happy International Dot Day! Classes in both our lower and upper elementary schools celebrated creativity and self-expression inspired by the book by Peter H. Reynolds. Students created their amazing dot artwork, showcasing their unique styles for display in the buildings! In Mrs. Threlkeld's first-grade class, students went above and beyond by designing their dot-day attire at home, displaying incredible creativity. The fun didn’t stop there—everyone participated in various dot-themed activities and enjoyed some delicious dot candy!

TWO DAYS A MONTH That's all it takes to be chronically absent. Did you know children can fall behind academically if they miss 10% of school days? Being in school supports students' social, emotional, and physical well-being, and provides students with opportunities to learn, achieve, and reach for their dreams.

MAIN CAMPUS AFTERNOON TRAFFIC UPDATE We want to thank everyone for their patience and generosity in working with our staff daily to ensure the Commodore experience is great. We have an update on minor changes to the afternoon traffic on the main campus. We implement these changes for the safety of our students and drivers as we flow traffic during bus waves. 1. Car rider pick locations are only at the front of each building (LUES, LMS, and LHS). 2. South Commodore Dr, the road behind the LMS Gym, will now be closed to traffic. 3. LHS drivers exiting the LMS back parking lot will exit directly from Commodore Dr onto HWY 334 (green arrows). 4. The point beyond the LMS back parking lot will be one-way traffic for the bus lane and the lower athletics parking lot heading out to LUES. LHS drivers parked in the athletics parking lot will have to exit toward LUES and loop if exiting during dismissal.
