A group of students from Lafayette competed at the District FFA Competition in Tishomingo, MS on March 18 and placed in several categories. They will compete on April 11th in the FFA State Competition at Mississippi State University in Starkville.

Matt Briscoe, a student in Mr. Steve Hurdle's Building Trades program, took First Place in the district competition for cabinet making.  Matt received a full two year scholarship to Northwest Community College.
