                                                      Grand Champions                                       

        On April 4, 2009, the cadets of the Lafayette AFJROTC hosted their 9th annual drill meet. This day, schools from as far as Ridgeland, Georgia came and competed in competitions ranging from Unarmed drill to I.D.R. knockout drill. Also attending the competition was the local National Guard, who brought their rock climbing wall and shooting gallery for the participants as well as the viewers to partake in. When the day was done, our own Lafayette AFJROTC drill teams came out victorious, becoming the Overall Grand Champions for the second year in a row. Congratulations to our drill teams as well, and a big thankyou to all the helpers and participants that helped make this drill competition our best one yet.
