2010 Public Depository Bid
NOTICE TO BIDDERS
The Board of Trustees of the Lafayette County School District hereby gives notice to all banks in Lafayette County and the City of Oxford, Mississippi, that sealed bids/proposals for designation as depository will be received until 12:00 noon, March 12, 2009 in the Office of the Superintendent, 100 Commodore Dr. The bids/proposals will be approved at the next regular board meeting.
Bid packages will be provided upon request.
The period of time will be for 36 months beginning April 1, 2010. Please indicate your proposal to secure these accounts by pledging such securities in such amounts and upon such conditions as required in Section 27-105-305 and 27-105-353 of the Mississippi Code of 1972, Annotated.
The necessary accounts and type of accounts are listed as follows:

Financial institutions outside the city limits of Oxford, Mississippi should disregard School Food Service and activity funds when making your bid/proposal.
Bids/Proposals for appointment as depository for all or any part of Lafayette County School District funds will secure said funds in an amount sufficient to meet the statutory requirement provided for official depositories in Mississippi.
All bids/proposals must be sealed and have “Depository Bids/Proposals Date” written on the exterior of a sealed envelope and addressed to the attention of Mr. Michael Foster, Superintendent, Lafayette County School District, 100 Commodore Dr., Oxford, MS 38655. The right to reject any and all bids, or any part thereof, is reserved by the Board of Trustees as purchaser.
