Lunch Application
Posted on 07/15/2021
Lunch application form is now open. Please fill out the form for your student.

It is very important that all students should have an application completed even if they do not plan on eating school prepared food.

Complete the Application

The Lafayette County School District is asking all parents with children in the district to take a few minutes and complete the free and reduced lunch application online.
LCSD participates in the USDA National Breakfast and Lunch Programs, and meals are available to all students.  Some children pay the full price, but low- and moderate-income children may qualify for free or reduced-price meals.

We are asking all parents to complete the application.  The number of students eligible to receive free or reduced lunch in our district is a part of our annual federal programs application.  Schools that have children from low-income families make up at least 40 percent of enrollment are eligible to use Title I funds to operate schoolwide programs.  If not enough students qualify for the free meal programs, the district could be at risk of losing funding for technology resources, SPED programs and services at each of our schools.

In order to be eligible for the extended EBT program you must have a completed application on file.  Once completed, this application will be good for the entire school year and will be good for the first 30 days of the 2022/2023 school year.
